This visual resource provides an educational LGBT history timeline, beginning in 1570 and concluding in 2022. With a primary focus on Scotland and the rest of the UK, key moments from LGBT history are presented in a visual format.
This resource can be used to create a visual display, providing an LGBT history exhibition which can be explored by learners. Ready to print PDFs are included, and images can be printed in A4 or A3 format. Your display can be placed in chronological order on a wall or exhibition stand. Additionally, teachers can self-select particular dates and use them as handout cards to accompany a lesson about historical rights movements, or responses to inequality in past societies.
